-Yes, it does take good quality pictures.
-Batteries come with it,but suck! [you will have to replace them with ONLY Kodak batteries.]
-Internal memory for videos is 11 seconds, but with a memory card it is 35 or 36 minutes.
I think the camera is cool, but I've filed for the warranty deal,because the camera comes one,but doesn't respond to the controls! So, yeah you should give it a try, just look forward to replacing the batteries.
