What kind of frames per second (fps) can I expect with a 22" widescreen LCD monitor while gaming?
I have a 256mb Geforce 6200 video card (AGP). The only game I play is Nascar 2003 Season. Currently have a 17" full screen LCD monitor connected via VGA...average 65 fps at full resolution (1280x1024) with medium graphics and no AA or AF. The new monitor will be connected via dvi (card has both vga & dvi). I know it can handle a 19" widescreen just fine...I just don't want to take a huge fps hit.
with this video card, games are a none factor. it will have all it can do to hold up to the monitor.. this video card is less than intel graphis.
you will need to up your card for anything more than card games.
nascar 2003 is of no baseline.
