My camera is broken. Any tech nerds have ideas as to how to repair it?
Being as clumsy as I am, I dropped my camera as I was about to take a picture. Now the zoom thingy won't go back into the camera. When I turn the camera on, the zoom thing tries to move, the camera beeps three times, and shuts off. Does anyone know what's wrong with it or how to fix it? Please help- my parents are going to kill me when they find out I broke it.
A big contributor to the breaking of electronics is the shock from an object impacting a surface. Usually, shock will damage or destroy components of the device, so there is nothing you can really do, under such conditions. In this case, I hope you have a valid warranty.
