I have just aquired a Nikon F60 (body only) what is a good all round AF lense for a newbie?
I just need something that fits and works for general photography, never owned an SLR before.
I am going travelling, backpacking to Guetamala. Is there any type of lense I should choose for this specific occaision? I do not understand any types of Jargon as it is all new to me.
Any of the Nikon AF, AF-I or AF-S lenses that are NOT DX .... DX lenses are for the APS-C sensored DSLR cameras and if used on a 35 mm Nikon SLR, will vignette, especially near the ends along the 36 mm length of the frame.
One of the lenses you may enjoy the most would be the 24-85 mm f/2.8~4.0. It also can be used as a semi-macro lens, down to a 1:2 image to subject ratio
