More business is done on the golf course then anywhere. Or at least that's what I've heard. It is a great place to advertise your business. Logo golf balls are like ball caps. Think about it. A business associate or acquaintance gives you a ball cap, or if you're lucky a logo ball. Well if you're on the golf course lets hope it's a logo ball, but golfers wear ball caps too. Maybe you'll get both. We all love getting free stuff from people we do business with.
If you're a golfer, and golf for business, you know just how many logo golf balls that can be. Wow, it's crazy! So what happens to all these logo ball caps or golf balls? Some are worn or played but a lot more go in a box, or at least the ball caps do. The logo balls are played or collected. My husband plays with the golf balls, but always saves one to add to his collection. He really enjoys people and finding solutions by working together and the golf course is a great place to set up business.
Now, I can understand boxes for the ball caps because who wants to display ball caps on their walls and all over the house? That would take up a lot of wall space. Golf balls could be different. There are so many awesome golf collection displays on the market. They go with absolutely every decor imaginable. So, we purchased our first 50 ball "Golf Green" shaped golf ball display. It really looked nice hanging on the wall in my husband's office. However, it didn't take long to fill up. Think about those ball caps. Get the picture? He now has several display racks in his office and even more at home. Oh yeah, he also collects balls from every golf course or tournament we've played (Yes, I said we. I'm hooked now too!), golf events we've attended, or awesome shots we've made besides from business associates. But the vacation golf ball collection is a completely different story.
Over the years we have played in many business and association golf tournaments receiving logo balls from people who are not only business acquaintances, but friends. Playing golf with business associates has created friendships that will last forever and go beyond business. Displaying this golf collection is a great way to remember these tournaments. They make you smile, laugh and think of the people you've spent time with on the golf course, not to mention initiating a business conversation.
